Terms of Service
SINDO Corporation (hereinafter "the Company") establishes these Terms of Service (hereinafter "the Terms") for all internet services managed and operated by the Company. All persons (hereinafter "Users") who access, browse, or use any website operated by the Company (hereinafter "the Site") must agree to these Terms and comply with applicable laws. When using individual services provided on the Site, Users are also required to agree to the usage conditions set for each service. Please review the terms before using any service. The Company takes full consideration in protecting user privacy. For handling of personal information, please refer to our "Privacy Policy".
Article 1 (Members)
- "Member" refers to an individual who agrees to these Terms and applies for membership according to the procedures established by SINDO Corporation (hereinafter "the Company").
- "Member Information" refers to information about member attributes disclosed to the Company and transaction history information.
- These Terms apply to all members and must be observed during and after registration.
Article 2 (Registration)
1. Membership Qualification
Customers who agree to these Terms and complete the membership application will have membership status upon completion of registration. Registration must be completed by the individual. Proxy registration is not permitted. Applications from those whose membership was previously revoked or deemed inappropriate may be declined.
2. Entering Member Information
Please read the input instructions carefully and accurately enter the required information. Special symbols, old kanji characters, and Roman numerals cannot be used. If such characters are registered, the Company will modify them.
3. Password Management
- Passwords are for use by the member only and may not be transferred or lent to third parties.
- Members are responsible for managing their passwords, including regular changes to prevent unauthorized access.
- Any expression of intent made to the Company using a password shall be deemed the member's own, and the member bears responsibility for all resulting payments.
Article 3 (Changes)
- Members must promptly notify the Company of any changes to registered information such as name or address.
- The Company bears no responsibility for damages arising from failure to update information. Transactions processed before the update will be based on the previous information.
Article 4 (Withdrawal)
Members wishing to withdraw must complete the withdrawal process themselves. Withdrawal takes effect upon completion of the process.
Article 5 (Loss of Membership and Compensation)
- The Company may revoke membership if false information was provided, payment obligations were neglected, or the Company deems the member inappropriate.
- Members shall be liable for damages caused by: (1) Unauthorized use of member numbers or passwords (2) Tampering with website information or sending harmful programs (3) Infringing intellectual property rights of products handled by the Company (4) Other violations of these Terms
Article 6 (Handling of Member Information)
- The Company will not disclose member information to third parties without prior consent, except: (1) When required by law (2) When the Company deems it necessary to protect its rights, interests, or reputation
- Member information is managed in accordance with the Company's privacy protection practices. The Company may use member information for service provision, improvement, promotion, and ensuring sound operation.
- The Company may provide information (including advertisements) via newsletters and other methods. Members who do not wish to receive such information may opt out through designated methods, except for information necessary for service operation.
Article 7 (Prohibited Activities)
Members are prohibited from the following activities when using the Service:
- Violating laws, these Terms, or service usage guidelines
- Damaging the rights, interests, or reputation of the Company or third parties
- Activities that may adversely affect youth or violate public order and morals
- Activities causing inconvenience or discomfort to other users or third parties
- Entering false information
- Sending or posting harmful computer programs or emails
- Unauthorized access to the Company's servers or computers
- Lending, transferring, or sharing passwords with third parties
- Other activities deemed inappropriate by the Company
Article 8 (Service Interruption/Suspension)
The Company may suspend all or part of the Service without notice in the following cases:
- When necessary for scheduled or emergency system maintenance
- When system load is concentrated
- When system operation becomes difficult due to fire, power outage, or third-party interference
- When the Company deems system suspension unavoidable
Article 9 (Service Changes/Discontinuation)
The Company may change or discontinue all or part of its services at its discretion without prior notice.
Article 10 (Disclaimer)
- The Company assumes no liability for damages caused by system interruptions, delays, data loss, or unauthorized data access due to communication or computer failures.
- The Company does not guarantee that emails and content from its web pages, servers, or domains are free from computer viruses.
- The Company bears no responsibility for damages arising from member violations of these Terms.
Article 11 (Amendments)
The Company may amend these Terms at its discretion and establish supplementary terms. Amendments take effect when posted on the Company's designated site, and members shall comply with the amended terms.
Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
Disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district court with jurisdiction over the Company's headquarters.
